How it works
Here’s the core trick:
Nobody syncs to each other. Everyone syncs to the same reference — a backing track, or the takes your section already laid down. You sing to what you hear. The distance between you and the next singer stops mattering, because you’re both anchored to the same thing, not to each other. After the first take, additional takes let you hear each other.
That’s why it works across a city or across an ocean. In a browser. Nothing to install.
